I fell into the GAP

Good morning!

I love the all of the nail polish I've purchased at Old Navy. The Tip Toe polish is awesome sauce. So I was psyched to find out that Gap had begun selling polish again. More so when I found out that they have a major Chanel dupe. Now, I have to be honest. I am a Gap Inc. girl. I worked at Old Navy for five years and it deepened the love I have! Don't get me started on Banana Republic, I adore that brand. Needless to say, most of my wardrobe is made up of the three Gap Inc. brands. Now my nails are too!

Let's move on to the pretties!

Tangerine Tango trend
 Poppy
Three coats, no top coat

Tangerine Tango trend

Poppy is an absolute delight. It is totally in the Tangerine Tango trend. It is intriguing in itself. It appears to be a bright coral creme but it's more like a neon-ish coral "crelly" that dries in a satin finish.
I adored the formula, it applied so smoothly and dried really fast. There's very hard to distinguish VNL at three thin coats but the same could be achieved in two thicker coats.
I am madly in love with this and I highly recommend it!

Moving on to THE polish color I've been dying for since last Fall...

Chanel Peridot dupe
 Gap Gold Rush

Chanel Peridot dupe
Oh hai, Peridot dupe!

Good grief, this is lovely. It's a color duped a million times over but it is glorious. You all know what a sucker for duochrome/multichrome polishes I can be. I am so grateful to have this because frankly, all of the other dupes were either hard for me to obtain or terribly outside of my limited budget. I was so delirious, I bought two bottles because you know this is gonna disappear.

Gold Rush is mesmerizing. It's a shiny, sparkly gold that flashes blue, green and bronze. Formula was nice if a snotch runny and a tiny bit streaky. But that's two be expected with most metallic bases. Dry time was much better than I anticipated. You will definitely want three coats for opacity. Thicker coats will flood your cuticles and no one wants that.

Gap polishes retail for $6 and duh, can be found at Gap stores. Go get them!

Thank you for coming by and have a wonderful weekend. See you Monday!
